Very easy to locate. South side of Buffalo Bayou. Easy access to local street.
Foreign coins and bills.
In August/September of 2017 the Foreign Cache was subjected to the massive flood waters released by the U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers from the Barker and Addicks Reservoirs in West Houston.
Residential properties all around the general area were totally destroyed by the flood waters however the Foreign Cache site was left virtually unchanged except for the mounds of trash and garbage left behind after the flood waters receded. We estimated that it was submerged in at least five to ten feet of water for days before the water finally receded.
On September 29, 2017 we recovered the cache (still in its original resting place), drained the water out of it, cleaned up the log book that was sealed in a zip-lock bag and dry as a bone, re-filled the cash supply and replaced the Foreign Cache geo cache right where it has lived for the past fourteen years!
It should be noted that the Foreign Cache geo-cache could very well be removed or destroyed by construction crews when and if the US Army Corp of Engineers decides to wreak move havoc on the general area of West Houston.
