Cypress Canyon Park in Scripps Ranch. A short but steep climb.
This cache is dedicated to the brave men and women fighting for freedom and justice for the Iraqi people. If you are so inclined, stop to say a prayer for a swift and honorable conclusion to the conflict.
PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO MOVE THE CACHE IN ANY WAY. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ACCESS IT IN PLACE WITHOUT DISTURBING THE LOCATION OF THE CACHE CONTAINER. ALSO, THERE IS NO NEED TO CLIMB ANY FENCES OR VIOLATE ANY NO TRESPASSING SIGNS. SOME VERY MINOR BUSHWHACKING MAY BE REQUIRED SINCE THE TRAILS ARE NOT PARTICULARLY WELL-WORN. START AT THE DEAD-END NEAR THE CHAIN-LINK FENCE. THERE IS A FAINT TRAIL THAT STARTS IN THE ICE PLANT NEAR THE FENCE, THEN JOGS TO THE RIGHT (AWAY FROM THE FENCE) THEN WEAVES IT WAY THROUGH SOME BUSHES AND THEN BACK TO THE FENCE, THEN ALONG THE FENCE UP TO THE CROSS.
Please re-seal the cap tightly by twisting the wingnut until the rubber seal is very tightly pressed against the inside of the pipe and the top is firmly secured.
As always, Happy Hunting!
