Park at the Trout Brook Reservation (N 42° 23.100, W 071° 50.200) on Manning Street. Cross Manning Street and walk southwest (right) about two hundred feet. Turn left and pass through the yellow MDC gate (there is limited parking at the gate). Follow this trial south along Trout Book about .2 mile to the confluence of Trout Brook and the Quinapoxet River. From this point, you need to bushwhack about .16 miles. Cache is 2/3 of the way up the hill near a deer trail in an area of mixed pines and hardwoods. You’re looking for a green ammo box.
Speaking of deer, if you keep quiet and walk slowly you may see one of our four hoofed friends. We saw lots of deer sign in this area.
Cache was placed by Seven Hills Wheelmen members Paul Lema, Teri Lema, Terry Leboef, Wendy Swenson and Tom Swenson. Contact Tom Swenson about cache maintenance issues.
