Located near the Two Ponds Trail on Brushy Mountain. Just South of Marion VA.
Looking for a "High Country Fishin' Hole?" Bring your pole with you on this hike, and enjoy a few hours of fishing. There are two ponds located almost on top of the mountain and they have Bass and Bluegill in them. It's also just off the AT so you can enjoy a longer day of hiking if you choose to.
There is plenty of parking at the Mount Rogers Visitors Center. It's the best place to start, and a nice place to visit. There are no admission costs. The gates located at the Mount Rogers Visitors Center close at 4:30PM. Access is still allowed, and there is ample room to park across the road from the Visitors Center
The Cache is a large ammo box with LOTS of goodies in it for Hikers, Dad, Mom, and the Kids. I tried to think of something for everyone. ;)
It is hidden from view but should be an easy find.
