The South Carolina Academic Learning Environment (SCALE) is a six-acre scale map of South Carolina, which serves as an outdoor classroom for District Five Schools of Spartanburg.
The site is a scale map of the state. Seven major "cities" are designated as outdoor classroom areas, footpaths follow the interstate highway system, and stone riverbeds show the major rivers systems.
