The cache is a camo Altoids Tin.
Welcome to the "Livermore Ca$h. This is the second of a series of caches throughout Alameda and Contra Costa counties. The cache contains a 3D Happy Face mini-logbook and a California Lottery "Big Spin" Scratcher.
If you take the "Big Spin", leave a "Big Spin".
I use the Big Spin since these will not expire as the other games do.
Let everyone know if you win anything, and if you really hit it BIG, you get to sponsor the next Geocaching Picnic. Hey, you can afford it !!
Also, just a note about the terrain. As you approach the area of the cache, try to use the animal trails that lead from the main trail to the cache area. They are hard to see from a distance but are obvious when you are on top of them.
The coordinates listed are a composite of 5 reads. I found it interesting that the first reads, with three birds locked, started at 118' accuracy (or inaccuracy) before it settled down to a more normal accuracy. I have never before seen a reading this high and can't help but wonder if, given current events, a large inaccuracy is being imparted to the civilian side of the GPS system. Let me know how accurate the coordinates actually are
