Geocache Description:

I placed this cache for anyone who wants to stop by on his or her way home from St. George after a long day of work, or for anyone who wants find what I hope to be a challenging though easy to get to cache.
I call it the “ehorseman” since I recognized this movie setting from an old local favorite called “The Electric Horseman” starring Robert Redford and Jane Fonda. In the movie they call this “Silver Reef”, but we locals know that isn’t true. If you’re really brave you might want to rent the movie (I found it at Blockbuster) and suffer through a seventies style movie after a nice day of Geocaching and you will see the rocky background on the parting shot at the end of the movie. Look closely at the location if you intend to watch the movie, it makes the cache a little more fun.
Start in St. George on Highway 18, look for a parking lot to the west at 37 09.704N 113 36.607W
You will have to do some slick rock climbing, but should be easy enough for anyone in basically good shape. (I’m no rock climber or runner or weight lifter, and I still made it.) There is a lot of broken glass from old parties, and sharp drop offs so keep a close eye on your small children. You will likely see rock climbers and explorers in the area so be careful not to bother them or let them see where the cache is. Have fun and take time to explore the wonderful rock formations and a nice view of the valley.
This is regular ammo can painted tan.
Original Cache includes: Log Book with two pencils and a sharpener
Deck of cards
Oval GEO sticker
Mini pry bar
Purple garden gloves
Tube repair kit
Snow Canyon post cards
And lots of little things for fun.
