Geocache Description:

The Red Bridge Corner Stone Has Been Relocated and renamed!
It is now simply known as "Red Bridge" and can be found listed here under that title and physically there apx. 100 ft. due East of the corner stone in the base of a rock wall, under a vine maple, behind a large moss and fern covered rock. Good Luck! THC ONE and RLS

The Red Bridge was once a covered bridge spanning the Salmon River at this beautiful spot popular to fisher's and swimmers alike. The Red Bridge no longer exists. Today a modern wood and concrete structure carries traffic across the river and provides a great casting place for fishing and a jump-off point for swimmers. The name of this cache is all the clue you should need. The cache itself is a 5" plastic jar set in a block of concrete and located exactly where the cache title would lead a searcher to look. We hope you enjoy this location.
UPDATE 07-05-03
OK so this cache is in a quaint little drinking community that just happens to have a fishing problem. No fear though, the locals here realy are quite harmless. There are 5 or 6 other great cache locations all within five miles of this one and I encourage others to try them all. The folks at the local store near here are very geocache friendly and will even make available to other cachers printed hardcopy of the other caches in this area.
The Red Bridge Corner Stone cache can be easily accessed even with non cachers standing nearby, just sit on the rock in front of the corner, roll back the big stone and slide out the cache just far enough to open the lid and inspect the contents. Don't worry about spoiling this cache location either. This is a good one to use to explain to others about geocaching. Many of the locals have already found this one and have now learned to respect it as part of the great geocaching game. Bring a swimsuit and or a fishing pole!
