From the Leverett Post Office you head north on Montague Rd
for about two miles. After turning right onto Rattlesnake Gutter Rd you can park at the gate and begin your hike from here. Cache is near the top of the hill. Happy geo-caching.
This cache contains logbook, camera, and miscellaneous and assorted creatures, charms, compass and odds and ends. Rattlesnake Gutter was open to cars until rain storms wiped out part of the road. It is a beautiful area and now that cars are no longer allowed even nicer for hiking. The Metacommet trail is also within a mile of the cache for longer hikes. Always watch for critters when searhing among rocks.
