With Easter just around the corner, hopping into Spring with a bunny cache. Cache designed by a child for children and the young-at-heart.
Cache is placed in White Clay Creek Park near Possum Hill Section - the cache does NOT start on nearby Rte. 72 as topo map indicates. Trust your gps/r. MikeOtt has an excellent cache that you might wish to do 1st (for those of you looking for a longer hike, follow his recommendations/for those with children, take the Possum Hill approach to his with this one).
Although the terrain is not a '3', reason for difficulty is due to some briers and a slight hill climb & small stream 'jump'. Our 6 yr. old enjoyed placing each part of this cache & if you watch out for real bunny holes (off trail) & hold their hands when exiting the trails, you should not have any problems.
You will be looking for a not-quite 'micro'-sized 'carrot' at Pts. 1 & 2 each contains coordinates leading to the next Part. Part 3 is the actual EGG-shaped plastic container, housing a variety of bunnies, logbook & pencil. There is also a FIRST FINDERS REWARD (bunny cache cash).
We ask that you take care in NOT being observed and that you re-hide each segment at least as well as you would if it were your own cache. All parts are within sight of a trail & with some discretion this is possible. Take your time - this is about having fun with your children.
