This cache is one of a series of coastal caches along the coast of Southeastern Massachusetts.
This cache is at the entrance to New Bedford harbor, located on the Fairhaven side of the hurricane dike. We "borrowed" the name from a Jimmy Buffett tune. This cache is in direct line of sight from the Palmer's Island cache, and is no more than a quarter of a mile away...but only if you have a boat. Otherwise, to get to Palmer's Island you have to take a drive around New Bedford's harbor.
The cache contains trinkets of a "summer" theme...sunglasses, icecube trays, fancy drink icecubes, etc.
To get to the cache, you might want to take the access path at N 41 37.482/ W 070 54.132
You might have to do some rock climbing to get to the cache.
