We noticed there weren't really any traditional caches near the South Rim, so my family and I placed this cash 2 miles south of the South Rim entrance of Grand Canyon National Park. It's not actually located in the National Park because they don't allow it.
This cache is an easy cache located off a bike trail in the Kaibab National Forest. The cache is a 50 mm Ammo Box. You can park here to start your hike:

If everyone who visits the cache could help keep the cache maintained and post a note on its current state so the next person who finds it can be prepared to stock it up (if needed), I would appreciate it. I live in Cincinnati, so I probably won't be back out to the Grand Canyon too often to check up on it! Please try to keep the cache well stocked with good stuff.
