This is a cache for hiking enthusiasts. One way distance is a little over 4 1/2mi with elevation gain of 2400.
If you like hiking up hill for a couple hours on logging roads you might enjoy this one. If you come on a clear day you will be rewarded with a fantastic view of the entire Puget Sound region. You'll find solitude up here not always attainable on public trails with this much of a climbing workout.
On weekdays you may encounter an occasional log truck, but they are quite friendly.
The cache can also be attained on a mountain bike however I think it's easier to walk.
The cache is a plastic peanut butter jar with geocache sticker with a new logbook and various action figures
Suggested entry point at N 47 21.412 W.121 53.016. If you start here you can do all the great new caches on the way up.
