bug and snake: The cache has finally been archived. The wet winter/spring beat it. The bug was carried to a cache at Woods Hole and sent on it's way.
When I went to remove the cache it was pretty much destroyed. I think it was found by a casual passer by after it suffered under the weather. Anyhow, I was not able to find all of the parts of it but I removed as much as I could find. I am not overly worried about leaving parts of this one (if there are still remains in the area) since it was made from a hollowed out log.
