The apex of my highland tour can be reached from the Gowland Ridge side or the Mt. Work side. Take the time to enjoy the scenery enroute and the spectacular view near the cache.
I placed this cache from the Gowland side using the trail access at UTM 461519 x 5374610. There are several side trails worth exploring, several of which are unpublished but have existed long before this area became a park. The cache is not intended to be difficult to find.
At the time of placing several varieties of fragile wildflowers were blooming. Please tread lightly when off the trails.
