Geocache Description:

This is one in a series of caches at locations I grew up around. Here you will find a seldom-used paved interpretive trail detailing the logging history of the area. This is also an excellent pitstop I have used countless times over the years! The restrooms are only open during the summer months, however.

**UPDATE 8/31/2004** Sure enough, somebody swiped the cache! Since the original hiding spot has been compromised, I have relocated a new container nearby. Be sure to download the new coordinates.

The cache is a clear plastic cashew container. It has a logbook and several items for trade. There is tree cover at the site, so your results may vary. Although the main part of the trail is paved, seeking the cache will take you down a dirt path to a vantage of Sherman Creek.
