Geocache Description:

We have replaced the container, it is now in an AMMO can. Hopefully the critters wont chew holes in it...This is an easy find. No rough terrain easy walk. The access is from the parking area at the Weir Dam below the South Holston Dam. It is located on Osceola Island. YOU MAY WANT TO PUT ON SOME MOSQUITO REPELLANT!!!

Weirs the Dam Cache?? "Over the river and through the woods to the GEOcache we go. The GPS knows the way to go, as we seek the treasure today."
This cache is located in an area that can be enjoyed by old and young alike. If you decide to look for this cache, you may want to bring a picnic, fishing pole, or just some good walking shoes to enjoy the walk around the island. While looking for the cache, be sure to watch for deer, beaver, waterfoul, etc. The island is home to many types of wildlife (including snakes). We tried to place the cache in an area we think will not have problems with any wildlife (but please be careful)! You will have to bushwack a little. Not too far off the trail though.
The cache has different items in it. Fishing lures, and things you may find in the "GREAT OUTDOORS". There are things for children and the young at heart. Please have fun looking for it and dont forget to sign the log book. Let us know what you think.
