This cache is in a 100-acre plot of state land. I had originally planned a multi-cache for this area but got too anxious and wanted to claim this land before another cacher did. The area is mostly flat and a nice hike.
The above coordinates will take you to a gate next to the main road. Don't park directly in front of the gate in case someone needs access (don't ask me how I know this...)The cache is about 3/10 of a mile in at N 47*26.378 W122*36.882 The cache is in a small container about the size of one of those travel coffee mugs. Although there are no glint markers, this would be a great cache to find at night if you're so inclined to do such a thing.
UPDATE 4/24/03: This is now a bonus cache! When you find the first cache, look on the inside of the logbook cover for information on the 2nd cache hidden on this land. The second cache is in a two quart thermos container and is hidden a little better than the first one. You could find it at night like the first one if you're into that sort of thing. For now you'll have to write down the info yourself until I can get cards placed in cache #1. Good luck and have fun!
