Geocache Description:

Jack London, author and teller of tales

Jack London was the most proliferic American author at the turn of the previous century. He told tales of the frozen Yukon and the balmy tropical South Pacific. He grew up sailing on the Bay, and spent the last years of his life on his Beauty Ranch in Glen Ellen.

This cache is located at the pond above the vineyard. This is now a State Park, and the gate fee is $5. It is pretty here, and there's a few hours activites to do. Go ahead and buy the $1 brouchure.

It's a peanut butter sized jar, under a slab of bark. It's a 2-star because of distance.
