Geocache Description:

Park here (N38.13.659 W086.47.800) and hike down the fire trail. It is about 1.5 miles round trip. The trail is wide and easy. God's Country number 5

This spectacular detached slice of the Ferdinand State Forest is little known outside of the immediate area. Local kids have been walking back to these rocks and carving their names in the stone for years. I suspect that local adults are hesitant to bring their spouses here, for fear of finding their name carved in stone with an old girlfriend/boyfriend?

The first big rock you come to (about the size of a bus) is eagle rock, it might take a lot of imagination to see the eagle head, it used to be more obvious but the stone is constantly weathering. Continue on the trail and you will find the beautiful Eagle Falls.

A word of caution. This could be a dangerous night time place to visit. There are cliffs, and the rocks can be slippery when wet. The cache is located away from any cliff edges, but be careful.

The cache contains a bag of change, small coins from all over the world.
