Located along the creek in the Red Hill Valley. Trails are generally easy however near the end there is a steep hill (still a trail on it) and if wet the side trails you need may become a bit slippery.
This cache was placed to re-introduce people back in to the Red Hill Valley. There use to be another cache in this area a short ways away but it ended up disappearing for good.
The Red Hill Valley may some day have a freeway going through it, depending on who wins that politcal battle, but in the meantime its a great spot to hike and enjoy many trails including the bruce.
Suggested parking for this cache is a parking lot at coordinates:
N 43 12.048
W 079 48.929
Note parking coordinates should be dead on as I had 9 satellites up full with wass coming in and a 2.3m accuracy.
On the other hand when I took the cache coordinates because of the coverage overhead and it is a valley there were only 4 satellites at about half and a 12 meter accuracy so bear that in mind :)
When you do find the cache please be very careful to note there are passes both to the north, south east and west that can spot you so be discreet and hide the cache as well as we left it. Thanks!
Cache is quite full to start so plan to bring something small or trade equal sized items, when the cache was placed it contained the following items:
