UPDATE! The bears got to this one (don't leave food in the cache)
so we recovered, restocked and reset this one on March 13, 2006.
Located somewhere along the Elk Meadow Trail in the University of
Washington's Charles L. Pack Forest. An easy half mile hike during
the week, a longer one mile hike on the weekends (you have to walk
from the locked gate). Take a "virtual tour" of the Elk Meadow
Trail and other Pack Forest Trails at www.packforest.org
The Wood is Good cache contains all sorts of prizes made from
trees. You can take a prize but must leave another prize in its
place, and that prize must be something made from trees. That can
be anything from paper to rayon fabric to 35mm film!
