Geocache Description:

Lookout Mountain is one of three mountain peaks that surround Spearfish. Evidently the peaks appeared to an early mayor as a crown around the city, giving Spearfish the nickname the "Queen City". From the top you can check out the great view of the city. Look for names carved in the sandstone and perhaps you will even spot the wild turkeys that live on the mountain. Keep an eye out for rattlesnakes. Don't forget your camera and a bottle of water.

Parking - Park at the Exit 12 overpass on I-90 Westbound. Follow the trail to the top of the mountain.
