Geocache Description:

This virtual cache is an historical marker located in the Villa Park/Orange Park Acres area of Orange County. I've always found it an interesting location as hinted at by the name of this cache. The coordinates posted above are NOT the location of the plaque.

Because the road is narrow where you finally need to be, and there are posted "No Stopping Any Time" signs everywhere, the ABOVE published coords will offer you a good place to park. Walk the very short distance to N 33 48.358 W 117 48.071 and answer the following three questions:

1) What is the official name of this site?
2) In what year did the person named on the plaque petition for use of the land?
3) How many years passed between the year this plaque was placed and the year he died?

In order to prove that you have found the cache, e-mail me the answers. Spelling and neatness count!! You can contact me (through the geocaching.com website) by clicking on my geocache name above (just below the cache name at the top of this page), then on the link following "E-Mail Address" on my profile page. You can send me your e-mail address or not -- it's up to you (I will not give it to anyone else). Once you receive confirmation from me that your answers are correct, you may then post your log and take credit for finding the cache.

The most difficult part of this cache is finding a place to park. In helping to eliminate a possibly dangerous situation due to traffic for those of you who push coordinates to their GPS units using their computer, I decided to make you work a little bit harder by NOT supplying the actual cache location as the posted coordinates, nor as a child waypoint. You'll have to enter them by hand. Please do not trespass on private property -- and PLEASE DON'T GIVE AWAY ANY ANSWERS IN YOUR LOGS.

Have fun!!
