The cache serves as a memorial for Buttercup, my guinea pig. Since Buttercup went geocaching with me once, I thought a cache in his honor was appropriate. Origionally, the cache was loaded up with toys for pets of all kinds—guinea pigs, birds, ferrets, dogs, and cat; however, constant springtime flooding made me change the container size and location (many times).
This two-stage multi-cache that should take 30-45 minutes at most. The cache is located along the Olentangy River bike path. Parking is not available in the vicinity, but you can use the parking coordinates from my other caches if you don’t mind a short walk: Ohio Wetlands and Storyboard: Nebit The Gnome.
Stage One is a small plastic container. Coordinates for stage two are in the container. Do not take the paper from the cache! Stage Two is a camoflauged bison tube located along the western-most hiking/mountain biking trail that runs through these woodlands. This trail has become overgrown this summer, so just take the eastern-most trail and don't cut over until you get to a large opening. Some bushwhacking is required. Please make sure to re-hide both caches well!

For those of you playing RPG: Nebit the Gnome, there is a special magical item in this cache: A Garnet Amulet. Any character may use this Garnet Amulet to turn invisible and avoid a high level monster. (This also means you cannot gain any treasure in the cache.) After your next three encounters, the magical Garnet Amulet is depleted and will be automatically discarded. Make sure to visit my other caches to obtain different magic items!
