Geocache Description:

Located on the shore of beautiful Lake Ontario, in the rocks. There are many exciting and interesting ways to do your approach.
You may have to move some brush near the end to get at the cache.
Please beware of the rocks - as they get quite slippery when wet!

Rocky and Bullwinkle had a disagreement over their mansion last we heard after the show ended; so bullwinkle is out on his own, and Rocky is alone too. Rocky decided to move to this beautiful area located on the shore of one of the Inland Seas - and settled on Lake Ontario.

First he tried by a lighthouse - but it was too bright.

Next he flew over to the Port Authority Pier - but found that ships came in at all hours of the day and night - making such a ruckous that he couldn't tolerate it.

Then....He thought he found the perfect place - a place with a view - that held alot of history of the war of 1812, and had a nice lookout over the lake and the awesome sunsets. He lived here all winter and spring, but when summer came the poor squirrel thought his house exploded - for a cannon was booming...

Time for one last move Rocky said to himself...He flew around the whole lake and ended up coming to a home right near his last one. He found a beautiful stone house, near some pretty trees, and on the beach where he could be lulled to sleep by the great lakes' waves. Pretty soon he had all his female friends over, and fell in WUV! Miss Geo spends much time in his WUV Lair - but gets upset on the rare occasion that a choo-choo train goes by; right up from Rocky's house. Rocky came up with a solution: He placed a flat grey rock on the front of the house to block the noise - and while it quieted the waves a bit - they didn't care much because now they wouln't hear the train tracks, fishermen, nor the ships over near the port.

They are so happy now that they plan on getting married together very soon - so you may want to search out their home and pay a little visit! Rocky can still be seen flying around the area - especially his favorite places, like the lighthouse on the pier, the maritime museum, or the Port Authority where he gets to see ships from all over the world - sometimes he may even be seen flying over the fort - but these days with cannons going off in the air - it can be a bit dangerous for a flying squirrel! Be careful when you go towards his house becaue he has some brush near it, and may not be right close by - but up with his lady friend in the nearby multi-trunked tree, or taking a dip in the lake, swimming or riding the waves!

Rocky asked me to tell you to bring a gift to trade for his secret stash - try not to be a "prize pig" and be sure to sign his guestbook when you are there!

This is the first cache we placed, and have to thank Rocky for his help - and with that we may add that some of the gifts he has available are:

The GMS Black Panther Travel Bug
A Where's George Dollar - please log it if you take it and try to keep it in other caches!
3 postcards of ships
A NDC Waterways CD which has information of every US waterway.
A Hemp Jewelery Making kit.
Seashells in a bag.
A bag of Potpourri.
