This cache should be well suited for travelers on Highway 70 headed east. Park in the rest area at the top of the pass and follow the trail that is towards the west end of the rest area. The initial trail is well marked, but gets a little more difficult as you go. If you are headed west on Highway 70, you will need to turn around in the town of Organ and go back to the top of the pass.
Take a few minutes and look at the displays at this rest area. They are interesting, and help explain the surrounding area.
The cache is in a round Tupperware type container with a screw-on lid. Original items include some stretchy toys, letter opener, toy astronaut, bottle of bubbles, a Matchbox car, a folding screwdriver set, a Space Center pencil from SpaceCamp in Alabama, and the log book.
