Geocache Description:

The cache has been dried out and returned to it's original location! Begin at the Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. The first part is paved road for walking. But in the end, it is in a wetland area and sometimes can get a little wet and/or muddy.

This cache was put together by my daughter Emily, 9. It's an easy find but walking is a must! Less than a mile one way. Begin at the Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. There is no need to pay the entrance fee. You can Park at either entrance but the cache is off a paved service road used by Park vehicles and not for visitor traffic other than on foot. This needs to be strongly adhered to! Once on foot follow your GPS until it points you directly into the woods. You should find yourself looking down and old abandonded dirt road. Follow your GPS until you reach the above waypoints. Continue north for about 50 feet until you reach an old pile of rocks. Look around for a dead tree broken in two. There you will find what you are looking for. Mosquitoes can be horrendous so be prepared. The original cache included a stuffed animal, colored markers, mosquito soap, compass, all purpose tool, jacks and a ball, and 2 golf balls found in the area of another cache.
