Geocache Description:

You need to take the track next to the first house you see on you right as you enter town from Broad arrow it will take you to the town tip. Thanks to team Charnley River for addition information.

We decided it would be a nice time to revisit Ora Banda and see the changes. Update: Sadly Time has been hard on the Pub and it has been burnt down again. We have heard it may be rebuilt from its ashes sometime in the future. We hope it does as its a great location to quench the thirst. We have left the original listing under this update just for reference so remember it is no longer a pub just a ruin. Original Cache wording:"The Pub is now rebuilt and serves a cool beer. What else would one want? Well there is a beer garden out the back and they serve decent food too. The pub has scars from the bombing but they have decided to keep a few of them as mementos. So you should be able to see a couple of panes of pressed tin wall behind the bar that have been retained and the scorch marks outside on a side wall. As you drive towards the cache location you will pass though what seems like a rubbish tip, but we think its most likely just where things fell is where they ended up. The cache is located in a hollow tree and only requires a short walk on tracks. The location is right near where two old tracks cross but it may be better to walk the last hundred meters rather than drive as you will probably suffer a few paint scratches on your car otherwise. Come here for an easy half day trip to see the old pub. ..Lyn Pat and Nathan."
