Geocache Description:

Ray Harral Nature Park. A nice out of the way place to hike/walk. As of 12-31-04 this is no longer a multi stage cache.
From Germex1: I had actually hoped to turn it back into a multi, but the system wouldn't let me...
on the plus side, it would have been a 4x5 multi, it was quite ugly, everything was placed, I was quite happy to be hiding and not hunting it ;-) bloody shame

THANK YOU CCATBQFM for giving me the honor of preserving the oldest cache in Broken-Arrow...

Above you will find the actual coords of the cache box. How hard and how scenic a walk you have depends on which trail you take: you have three choices, look at the wooden map in the parking area.

This park has it all: a bridge, a giant turtle, a giant frog, azaleas, lots of foliage, wildlife and lots of walking trails.

If you cross the bridge, the trail will take you around to the Beavers Playground. The signs are everywhere...hope you get to see an actual beaver (they are huge).

Check out the remains of the old pumping station. On the other side closer to the parking lot beware of the rusted tanker...we saw lots of snakes near the tanker.

The new cache originally containes: logbook/pen, two boxes of crayons for the little ones, LED keychain light, carabiner with compass, carabiner with keychain, carabiner, fishing lure, plastic watch/patiencegame, noisemaker, 2 travelbugs and I forgot the rest :-) oh, there is a little token for the unofficial reFTF inside the log baggie.

It is no longer an ammo can, it seems to be harder to keep the moisture out of those.

Thank you BA parks system for allowing us to try a cache in this area. As always, please obey all park rules as posted. There is a curfew: The park closes at dusk and re-opens at 6am.Hope you enjoy this cache!****NOTE: 04-13-04 The trails have been upgraded and are asphalted around the perimeter while the inner trails are still gravel. Hunting in the summer may be a little more challenging, it is really starting to get green out there.

******NOTE 12-31-04 Moved the cache to a new location, due to falling trees.
