Sister-cache to The Key Clue Conundrum.
The cache is hidden in woodland close by to Staunton Harold Resevoir and Calke Park. We've given this a rating of two because of the (initial) steps and a number of stiles to negotiate.
Depending on the time of year, tree coverage may be a bonus ;) But otherwise, a pleasant stroll through the woodland that, at the right time of year (Apr/May), yields carpets of bluebells in between the trees.
Paths are permissive and could get a little muddy in very wet weather. Watch out when crossing the main road (the traffic does get a little fast, and can appear suddenly!)
Park at N52 47.630 W01 26.408
The cache is hidden at N52 47.878 W01 25.907 - to within a couple of points, depending on tree cover (it may bounce around a bit). You are looking for the usual Tupperware-style box wrapped in a black bin liner. The box contains several useful items including a camera, so please take a photo (log the number) and don't forget to use the flash!
It is easily accessable from the well-trodden path, so please do not damage the surrounding flora by walking/searching off-path.
Happy hunting!
Just a couple of hundred yards down the hill (at N52 47.603 W01 26.653) is a small nature reserve. Very pleasant although it is not suitable for buggies/wheelchairs as there are a number of steps/footbridges.
