The Nucleus Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

-=(GEO)=-: I had suspicions that the cache had gone missing a while ago (and some of its electrons as well) but the latest report confirmed it. Since the 'short way' to the cache area is no longer accessible to cachers either, I'm archiving the cache permanently. Thank you to all who visited it.

Geocache Description:

You won't need a Geiger counter to find the cache...

Just your GPS and a bit of luck...

The coordinates on the cache page are only the parking coordinates. The actual cache is located within 2 miles of them.

Think of this cache as an 'atom' with 4 electrons: the cache box is the 'Nucleus' and the 'Electrons' are travel bugs 'orbiting' Western New York.

To find the cache, you'll need to catch any one of the 4 electrons!

The cache container is a half-gallon round container pretty full of goodies.

Depending on your choice of approach (there are at least 3 options), you will need waders or better to cross a wide creek and therefore, the terrain rating can vary from a 1 to a 5 (I used waders when placing the cache).

As usual, know your limits and do not attempt this cache if you don't feel confident that you can do it safely.

This cache is winter accessible.

Please put the cache back -EXACTLY- where you found it.
