This cache is in my hometown, and as far as I know the first in Taylor County Iowa. The park has been getting better every year and in the winter it dawns many lights. Completing the cache should only take around 10-20 minutes, but hopefully will be a fun experience.
In this cache, three different sets of coordinates are given. You will need to find or decipher numbers, which will be used to determine the final cache location. The final cache is fairly well hidden for an area that is open to begin with. Please hide the cache back to its location, which is not terribly visible to others in the park. You may have to “dig” a bit at the last site or at least feel around for it. The final cache is in a GLAD Tupperware container about 18” by 18” by 8” deep. The original contents include a toothbrush, pokey, gumby, skateboard, tooth necklace, “smile” pin, Hawkeye sticker, Red Cross blood drop, a golf ball, two tees, key chain, strawberry, manicure kit, and an Iowa Hawkeyes pin. We also left the Ducky T.B., which needs to go on its way to California.
Stage #1: The coordinates for this stage are given above. Look for the brick of the Imm family. You will need to find which Row our family brick is in. Let A=the row # of our brick.
Stage #2: The coordinates for this stage are N40°52.877’ W094°33.899’. You are looking for the row and column numbers for Alonzo C. Sanford. Let B=(The row number)-(the column number) and C=(the row number) + (the column number).
Stage #3: The coordinates for this stage are N40°52.881’ W094°33.822’. You are looking for the difference of the numbers (or the length of time in years described by the period on the statue). Let D=(The difference in the numbers on the statue)-1.
Finally, let E = A - B + C - D.
