Geocache Description:

This is an easy walk from the parking location, but is not wheelchair accessible.

This is my first attempt at hiding a cache. It ended up in an "accidental find" hiding spot when I determined that my original planned hide out had three strikes against it. 1) It was less than 500 feet from the final location of the "Ravine Rave" cache. 2) The container was a little too big for the opening of the planned hiding spot. And 3) Upon my return to place the cache, there was extensive evidence of kids using the area to drink beer and try to light the forest on fire. I decided that this was not a good location after all, so three strikes and I was out.

As I walked back to the car, I was poking around off the trail and spotted an interesting hiding spot that when Heyrod13 saw me slide the cache inside; he said, "You're mean." I laughed and decided that despite its proximity to the road and trail this was likely going to be a good hiding spot. Despite the comment, I think any good cache hunter will make short work of this one, so I'm not (yet) offering any clues or spoilers beyond what you might glean from the cache name or this story.

The cache is in a small (4"W x 7"L x 3"D) black & brown painted Tupperware container with gold lettering. It was camo painted for it's original intended hiding place, but it's not needed here, and it's located within 25 feet of the main trail, so no bushwhacking needed.

There is only a small parking area near here and a private drive way branches off from that location, so please don’t block the driveway. The original contents include... a few "Boeing" mechanical pencils, a small padlock, a key ring, a pair of dice and a computer monitor cleaning pad. Plus a "Where's George" dollar Bill, plus the log book and pen. I'm asking that if you take the bill, please treat it as a "hitchhiker" log it into wheresgeorge.com and leave it in another cache with a note in that log to do the same.
