Access is possible either from the north or the south. From the south, the closest legal parking spot outside of school property is on Hackamore Drive in the vicinity of N33° 42.895 W112° 08.137. It will be a .65 mile walk/hike from this point to the cache. A mountain bike can get you much closer.
There are rattlesnakes around here, so be on the lookout and keep your ears open!
There is a rough and rocky road sandwiched between the school and the dump. The strip of land this road is on is State Trust land. To be legal you will need your State Trust recreation permit. However, the cache is off State Trust land. The road will get you pretty close before you have to go a short distance cross country to the cache. Take a moment at the cache site to sit, relax, and enjoy the view over Sandy's school.
