This is a favorite spot for my wife. She has been going here for
years. She took me there last year for the first time and it is
very nice. With a mountain on one side of the river and the
remnents of the D&H Canal on the other. A large beach is also
there. The area is a nice place to go. The cache is located at the
Sporrowbush Fishing Access Point off 97 at the end of Hook Rd. Also
try rafting the Delaware to get to this cache. Its alot of fun.
The cache is a .30 cal ammo can . Inside is some trinkets, a log
book, and pens and pencils.
It does get a little busy on the weekends in the summer but not
to crazy so be careful not to devolge the cache location so that it
does not get plundered. Enjoy the area. Go swimming or even bring
your fishing pole to do some fishing.
If anyone is into Benchmark Hunting there is one very close by.

When you come to this cache, take a step back and look
around. Its amazing just how much water can come from 1 storm named
Ivan. From the cache location, the water level reached just 10 ft
away. Now look at how far the cache is from the shore line at the
present time...
Thats alot of water!

Use some caution to get to this cache. With the floods from
the first week in April, Most of the road has washed away. You will
need to park up the road by the lawn care place if they haven't
fixed the road yet. This area took a real hard beating. Trees are
down everywhere, Huge (and I mean HUGE) holes in the road that can
swallow a car, and debris everywhere. This was once such a peety
place to visit and now nothing but devistation. The cache is fine
and the water came write up to it. Closer than tropical storm Ivan
in 8/2004. what a mess.
