This cache has been archived.

The Bennett Family: Sadly, this cache is now archived.
Bye Bye Baggeridge.
I'm sure it will re-appear somewhere else on site again some time later this year.
Probably as Baggeridge Revolutions.....:-)

Geocache Description:

We are proud members of the Geocaching Association of Great BritainPlease visit www.gagb.org.uk

A camouflage painted Ammo box hidden in Baggeridge Country Park near Wombourne/Sedgley in the West Midlands. The path is generally buggy friendly & well drained apart from the last 100 feet or so which leaves the main path.

This is a replacement for the previous cache that got trashed. It is in an entirely different place, so cachers who visited the old one are most welcome to try again.

The original contents of the cache are :-

A Pair of Tasco 8 x 30 Binoculars
An Alpha Centuri PC-CDRom
A Microsoft "My personal tutor" PC-CDRom
A Dog Ball
A pair of Earrings
A Ladies Watch
A Hybrid Gelpen
A fancy Pencil & Rubber
Logbook & Pen.

Car Parking currently costs 80p if you choose to park on site.
The Tea shop sells decent bacon butties & the park has a good children's playground - or at least our kid's think so!
There is a disabled battery buggy available in the Visitor Centre (Disabled badge required)

There are plenty of Ducks to feed & Rabbits/Squirrels/Buzzards to be seen

If you follow the path right through the park you can pick up another path that takes you down to Himley Hall - itself well worth a visit.

We would just like to thank Steve Gallis (The Park Ranger at Baggeridge) for kindly giving us permission to place this cache.

One final point - beware the nettles! (not too many but enough to get ya!)
