Cache of All Caches Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

NCreviewer: I normally give cache owners 48 hours to react to an SBA post, but since this was a school project cache I allowed an additional 48 hours. It seems that this cache appears to be gone or unmaintained. If the cache owner decides to replace or repair this, it can easily be unarchived if it still meets the current guidelines. Regretfully,

Thanks,

Geocache Description:

An olive drab ammo can. Located at Zebulon Middle School on an old nature trail.

This cache is a project of our Satellites, Computers and Mapping elective at Zebulon Middle School. In this class, we have learned how to navigate using a GPS receiver. We have also learned how to create maps using ArcView GIS. We would like to thank WRAL-TV and the Carolina Mudcats for providing many of the items in our cache.

The cache is located in the woods along highway 64 in Eastern Wake County. The cache is on school grounds but is not located near any of the buildings.

When seeking the cache, park in the bus parking lot on the side of the school. There is no need to enter campus for the cache. Enter the woods along the fenceline. There is an old trail that was used as a nature trail at one time located there. Follow the trail into the woods and navigate to the given coordinates. There is quite a bit of poison ivy in the area but most of it can be avoided by travelling off the trail.

The cache includes several cups and pencils from WRAL, a Carolina Mudcats hat and T-Shirt, some ZMS pens and pencils, and some giveaways from a career day at IBM. The cache also originally included our class travel bug "Scott." Please sign the logbook and thank you for supporting our class.
