This is a great hike through a hilly terrain. Heavily wooded area with an abundance of Mtn. Laurel. This Cache from 6/2/03 is nearly 20 years old and it is completely updated with a new container, with a new dry log and lots of goodies to trade with.
The cache is a black plastic ammo can container about 8"h x4"w. Inside is a variety of "nick nacks." This is a really great hike for Long Island because its really hilly located near the highest point on the Island and isolated. This would be an exellent hike to do the first two weeks of June when the Mountain Laurel are in bloom.
