This cache is located at my favorite stop when trail running or mountain biking this old abandoned fire road.
There are two ways to reach this site, from the top come down off of Rocky Peak Fire Road or up from the bottom through a Gated Community. Note that there is public trail access through the guard shack (the guards even open the gate for mountain bikers!). When coming from the bottom, follow the green stripe on the pavement marking the way to the trailhead.
Enjoy the view and imagine what it must have been like to be able to have lived here!
