The cache is placed on a moorland area of Lancashire with splendid views over Chipping Vale, Preston and Blackpool Tower (on a clear day) - An ideal picnic spot.
There's a few options for parking on roads nearby but I'd reccommend the Jeffrey Hill car park at N 53 51.396, W 002 32.956. It's about 1.4Km from the cache, gives the best views and the walk avoids any steep climbs.
The terrain is moorland with heather and billberry plants aplenty so good footwear is reccommended to avoid twisted ankles.
The cache is a plastic box 210mm x 140mm x 70mm. Please leave it as well hidden as you find it (or better)
I'd welcome comments on the accuracy of the co-ordinates, difficulty rating or the location.
After finding the cache please take the time to explore the rest of the area, it's well worth it. Head up to the trig point and if possible do a circular walk taking in the views of the Lancashire countryside.
