Sand,sand,and more sand! 4wd vehicles recommended or hike in from Recycled Bridge.
Take a trip down those wonderful sandy roads of the pine barrens!
I crossed over the Recycled Bridge with hopes of making it East to Parkdale to hide a cache there. With the roads in that direction flooded I headed north and found some pretty wicked sand roads and about a few dozen small wooden bridges to cross. After hiding the cache up there I took a different way back and ran through the worse sand roads I've driven in Wharton SF so far, but it led right back to Recycled Bridge and civilization....Eventually! When you find the right road to the cache you will find I hid it near a convenient place to park and turn around your vehicle. The cache is about 60ft off the road, but a fire break will get you in with no bushwhacking.
