Parking is at the Wilson Bridge boat ramp or south of the bridge off of highway 22. This cache is 0.35 miles up the West Bank of the Snake River. There is an iron gate across the dike at the boat ramp but the dike is open to foot traffic, much of the area is private land but the cache is on BLM land. There is a wonderful vista of the Grand Teton as you walk along the river. Moose are often seen in the area, osprey and bald eagles are commonly seen fishing over the river, you could try your luck fishing too. 0.15 miles past the cache is a buck rail fence which is a great picture opportunity, from here you can also see the Jackson Hole Ski Area.
The cache is in a round gold cookie tin and the original contents are.
