Bluff Point is near Quartz Lake, a popular recreational area north of Delta Junction.
You can hike to Bluff Point from either Quartz Lake or Lost Lake. The trail from Lost Lake is a little shorter with the entire loop being approximately 3 miles. The trail is well marked and maintained. You will walk through some swampy areas near the lake so be sure to take some bug juice along as the mosquitoes can be vicious. Once you are at Bluff Point you will have a nice view of Moose Pond and Shaw Creek Flats. A pair of binoculars could be handy.
