Geocache Description:

The cache is now a film cannister.

San Juan Bautista State Historic Site. This are has many historic buildings dating as far back as 1797. One of these buildings the jail, was constructed in 1870 and still stands today. Used until 1941 this jail was mainly used as a drunk tank to contain the Saturday night “Bad Guys”.

The park is open everyday from 10-4:30.
