Geocache Description:

This cache was created by the Eastside Foursquare Church Geocaching shared interest small group, a.k.a. Hidden Treasure Seekers (Matthew 13:44). It is our first group hide. Don’t do this cache at night. The park closes at dark. Park at the turn off on 19th Ave. SE, or at Stipek Park. Follow the new bike path to the park gate.

There was a young boy who played near this pond. When he grew old he forgot how much fun it was to play on its shore and in the neighboring woods. Now he likes to sit on his deck and spy on people trying to have fun in “his” park. If you come too close to his house, he will let you know. The picnic tables are in ruins, and the fire-pit is never used. You better hope he doesn’t see you, or else he’ll chase you off. If he confronts you, just smile, be nice, and tell him how much you like the park. This cache is a big, 50 caliber ammo box, with lots of fun things in it. It is a simple, easy cache. Just hide it really well so that the Grumpy Old Man doesn’t take it away.
