The cache is an ammo can located at 7459'.
To get to the trailhead, proceed up county 412 in the Nine Mile valley to FR392. There is a sign for the trailhead. Follow the signs to FR4213. FR4213 is closed from Oct 15 to Jun 15. The trail ascends about 1400' in 2 miles.
The road is quite rocky for the first couple of miles, but improves greatly when it leaves the creek.
Older maps may show a trail leading up from the creek. It was very obscure 15 years ago, and logging in the interim has obliterated it completely.
