This two-part multi will take you on a nice hike along well marked park trails. Best parking is along Beaver Dam Road as it avoids the picnic crowds and fee parking. Part 1 is rather small and is found not far off the trail near the base of a small rock ledge- no need to climb. It will have coordinates to lead you to the second and final cache which is a 50 cal ammo can. Part 2 is also not far off the trail near some low rocky cliffs. No need to climb.
This cache was placed on July 4th, our Nations 227th Birthday, thus the sub-name. Tim(7) and Colleen(4) (at the time) picked both locations. The terrain rating is 2.5 only because of the final 100 feet or so. The trees and rock outcroppings may block SVs at times, so you may have to move to more open skies to zero in.
