Geocache Description:

Hidden on the grounds of the Ohio Caverns park.

Ohio Caverns in West Liberty, Ohio contain the most beautiful stalagmites and stalactites I've ever seen. The cache is an ammo box hidden on the grounds of the park and should be fairly easy to find. There is no cost to enter the park, only to take the tour. Feel free to trade up, down, or even!

While you are there, you may want to spend an hour and take the tour of the caverns. Please plan your visit during their open hours. The park hours are as follows:

April 1-October 31: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
November 1-March 31: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

In addition to the cavern tours they have beautiful picnic areas. If you're driving any distance I recommend packing a lunch and making a day of the trip. Bring a jacket if you plan on taking the tour as the caverns are 54 degrees F year round.
