Geocache Description:

You can drive to within 50 meters of this cache. The last mile or so is off the pavement but is on a good gravel road.

Dixie Valley is the prime training area for the Naval Air Warfare Development Center (sometimes referred to as TOPGUN). This valley floor is flat and easily accessible by 2wd cars. However, be warned, this is definitely a remote area so take along water and a cell phone. There is a nice freshwater spring at the cache site but I do not know if it is potable. As you drive through the valley keep an eye out for old military hardware, such as tanks and mobile anti-aircraft guns. These are scattered throughout the valley to help train air crews on recognition skills. Don't worry, it is quite safe. No ordnance is used against these vehicles, just good old eyeballs. You can even walk over and climb on them and have your picture taken sitting on an old tank.
The original cache was placed in July 2003 but appears to have been recently stolen. As of 25 Feb 2018 it has now been restored. The cache is a clear rectangular tupperware container with a clear top and is starting out with:
deck of cards
Army gold insignia for Armor
electronic 21 question game
western cable neck tie
retractable lanyard clip
logbook and pen

Come and get it. :-)
